Here's a great idea that you can hang around your room, little paper dresses.

All you need is...
Plain or tracing paper

• Pen or pencil
• Interesting paper (ie maps, sheet music, wrapping paper or wallpaper)
• Buttons (optional)
• Lace (optional)
• Pins
• Sewing machine (optional)
• Needle and thread

What you need to do is...

1. Trace your templates onto paper (dress front, dress back and pocket) and cut them out.
2. Draw around the dress front and back templates on a paper of your choice and cut them out.
3. Now draw around the pocket template onto a contrasting paper and cut it out.
4. Pin the pocket and any other details, such as lace trims, onto the separate pieces of the dress.
5. Sew these in place, using either hand or machine stitch.
6. Pin the front and back of the dress together and stitch along the two sides.
7. Stitch across the two shoulders and hand stitch on details such as buttons.
8. finish by tying a bow around the waist.

That's all you need to do!

Here's another idea that looks good in any part of the house.
A Bonsai Forest. You know those small Japanese tree forests in  pot.

This is what you need:
-suitable trees (a group planting should consist of different sizes of trees, a few tall ones for in the middle and several smaller ones to plant on the sides. Use trees mostly growing upright, as the composition could look unnatural)
-a large and quite shallow pot 
-soil mixture of akadama, fine gravel and potting compost mixed together 

1. Cut several pieces of copper wire (about 10 cm or 4’’ long) and attach these to the pot using the drainage holes or with waterproof glue (The wires will be used to anchor the roots and stabilize the composition of trees)
2. To provide for a good drainage, fill the bottom layer of the pot with fine gravel and akadama in a ratio of ½ to ½.
3. Now prepare the trees by removing any dead branches and removing the lower branches to create a trunk (till about 1/3 of the tree’s height). Take the trees out of their pots and after having removed the soil, carefully disentangle the roots.
4. Place the taller trees somewhat out of the middle in the pot  and add smaller trees around them, when you are satisfied with the composition of the group planting, carefully use the copper wires to anchor the trees.
5. Use the prepared soil mixture to fill the pot and cover all the roots 
6. Water thoroughly and then use some moss to cover the surface, to prevent erosion.

 

Here's a good idea that looks good in any part of the house. A magical forest in a jar. 
All you need is...

•  a glass bowl (small fish bowl or flower vase)
•  potting soil (you probably only need 1 litre)
•  moss
•  small pebbles
•  decorations such as model pine trees, model moss, décor gravel, an animal

This is what you need to do...

1. open the bag of soil and pour the soil into the jar about one fifth to one quarter full
2. wet the soil with a little bit of water to make the soil moist and fertile 
3. scatter a small layer of pebbles on the soil, make sure you scatter enough so you don't see any of the soil
4. spread chunks of moss around but leave a narrow strip of pebble to make a pebble path
5. add in the decorations, like rocks, trees, mushrooms, even animals

Hi there

I've been on this website called Polyvore a little bit to much than I should but I love it. This website allows you to create outfits and styles. I'll put up some of my designs and you tell me what you think of them. You have got to go on to this website, I'm pretty sure you'll have just as much fun as I have.

If you collect postcards or like to remember where you been to, than this is a great idea for you simple to do. Simply bind the postcards. its as this. 

1. get postcards (doesn't matter is they are written on or not)
2. punch holes in them (preferably using a hole puncher)
3. line them up and put them in order
4. cut up pieces of ribbon or string long enough to be threaded through and tied in a knot (doesn't matter what type or what colour)
5. thread the ribbon or string through the hole and tie a knot

Extra Tip:
If you don't like the idea of having a o postcard as the first thing you see. create a title page (the size of the postcards of course)

Here's something to do if you like to write stories or poems
it's called a 'Sonnet', it's something that has been alive since Shakespeare's time.
A sonnet is like a poem that has a rhythm to it, the rhythm is like a heart beat rhythm (dee dum dee dum) 
A sonnet goes to something called an iambic pentameter, this means that there a 5 stressed syllables and 5 unstressed syllables. (dee dum dee dum dee dum dee dum dee dum)

Shakespeare usually wrote sonnets about love or nature.
I've created my own sonnet to give you guys an idea of a sonnet.

I have a great, creative idea involving jewellery, money and memories.
It's a 'Coin Charm Bracelet' it's a great idea for remembering the places you have been to.

All you have to do is get a plain bracelet and get jewellers to put the coins on. when it's done it's a great thing to wear and it reminds you of all the different places you have been to.
